Maintenance Engineer

A massive opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global company based in Kidderminster. With an annual turnover of £3.5 billion my client is the world market leader in its sector. They have over 200 plants worldwide in over 30 different countries, including 16 in the UK.

My client is looking for an engineer who may have finished their electrical qualifications and looking for a company to take them to the next level. You will work with them on their 4 on / 4 off continental shift at one of their biggest UK sites. They will develop you and train you in becoming a fully-fledged maintenance electrician, with PLC programming courses and mentorship from engineers they have on site. Maintenance Engineer Duties:

* 4 on / 4 off Continental Shift.

* Install and/or maintain plant machinery.

* Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system.

* Fault finding and repairing any electrical or electro-mechanical related problems.

* Ensure that all plant and machinery is kept in a good working and clean condition.

* Program all Siemens & other PLC equipment.

* Assist with the installation of new plant equipment.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

* Electrically trained or hold an electrical qualification.

* 18th edition (advantageous).

* Manufacturing or facilities background.

* PLC knowledge (Advantageous)

* Hard working, willing to learn and flexible.
