Academics are currently working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking to appoint a talented Teacher of Social Sciences, specialising in Criminology and Psychology, to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The successful candidate will:
Teach Criminology and Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students
Plan and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons
Monitor, assess and support student progress
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the continued success of the Social Sciences departmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within UK schools
Strong subject knowledge in Criminology and Psychology
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
