Pertemps Stoke are working with a client to find a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic who thrives in a busy environment, and can think independently on tasks and priorities.
The HGV Mechanic vacancy is Full time on site, ST4 in Stoke-on-Trent, Monday to Friday 0800 – 17.30The Role
Key Responsibilities

Running the diagnostics of faults within HGV’s and analysing where possible
Preventative and routing maintenance across all vehicles
MOT preparation, presentation, and servicing
General repairs and fixing any faults
You will work on a variety of makes and models, predominantly 18 tonnes and over
A can-do attitude is a must, with the ability to work well as part of a team, and happy to support colleagues where required📚 Full on the job training for the role of HGV Mechanic will be provided. PPE will be provided.
The Ideal Candidate

Willing to learn and adapt well under pressure
Positive and can-do attitude willing to go above and beyond
HGV licence advantageous

Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and maintain working relationships with colleagues and customers
