Global Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Platers and Structural Steel Fabricators to join a highly skilled fabrication team based in Coatbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong heavy steel and structural fabrication experience who are looking for long-term work, excellent pay rates, and regular overtime opportunities.
This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with a salary review available after 13 weeks for successful candidates.
The Role
As part of the fabrication team, you will be responsible for:
* Fabricating structural steel components from engineering drawings
* Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel platework
* Working closely with welders and production teams
* Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
* Following all site health & safety procedures
Requirements
To be considered, candidates should have:
* Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and plating
* The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
* Experience working on large or heavy steel projects
* Strong skills using fabrication tools and machinery
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shifts & Pay Rates
Dayshift
* £24.25 per hour
* £29.25 per hour overtime after 40 hours
Nightshift
* £29.50 per hour
* £32.50 per hour overtime after 40 hours
Additional Information:
* Monday to Friday working patterns
* Regular overtime and weekend work available
* CIS / Umbrella payment options
* PAYE available after 13 weeks
