How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Do you believe that meaningful work experience can transform a young person’s confidence, independence and future? Are you passionate about supporting neurodivergent learners with SEND to develop employability skills and take confident steps towards employment, volunteering or further study?
At Pinc College, we are creating pathways that connect education to real-world opportunity — and we are looking for dedicated Job Coaches to help our learners thrive beyond the classroom.
    About Pinc
Pinc is an Independent Specialist College offering an inspiring and impactful approach to education and pathways into employment for neurodivergent young people, aged 16-24 years. Through creative study programmes based in galleries, museums and cultural venues across England and Wales, we help students develop confidence, skills and pathways into further education, higher education and meaningful careers.
Our approach combines personalised learning, creativity, wellbeing and employability in environments designed to inspire ambition and possibility.
As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting learners to access and succeed in meaningful work experience and employer-led learning opportunities. Working across campus and employer sites, you will provide tailored coaching and support to help students build confidence, independence and employability skills in real-world settings.
So, what else are we looking for?
    * Experience of working in Further Education and/or specialist provision with students with SEND
    * Experience supporting neurodiverse learners and students with SEND and EHCPs
    * Experience building and maintaining employer or business relationships
    * Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    * Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
    * Ability to problem-solve and support learners in real-world environments
    * Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office tools
    * A professional, proactive and flexible approach to work
