How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Lambeth SW2)
    Start Date: September 2026
    Interview Week: W/C 8th September
    Pay: £545 per week
    Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
    About the Role We are currently recruiting for three dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) this September.
    You will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN
    Support children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, or Down Syndrome
    Assist in delivering personalised learning plans and interventions
    Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
    Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
    Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environmentRequirements
    Essential: Experience working within a UK primary school setting
    Essential: SEN experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or Down Syndrome
    Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting childrenDesirable
    Experience in Early Years (EYFS)
    Training such as Team Teach, PECS, or Makaton
