How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Resident Liaison Officer

    Location: London-based with travel to sites across Kent and East Anglia

    Job Type: Temporary or Permanent

    Salary: £28000 - £30000

    About the Company

    My Client are a specialist construction company delivering facade remediation and fire safety projects to occupied residential buildings across London, Kent, and East Anglia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and professional Resident Liaison Officer to join their  team on either a temporary or permanent basis.

    The Role

    As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, site teams, and project stakeholders throughout the delivery of facade remediation works. You will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships with residents while ensuring clear communication throughout the construction process.

    This is a London-based role with regular travel to project sites in Kent and East Anglia. Travel from the office to site will be fully covered by the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders

    Provide clear communication regarding upcoming works, access requirements, and project updates

    Manage resident enquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently

    Carry out resident consultations, meetings, and door-knocking where required

    Coordinate access arrangements for occupied properties

    Maintain accurate records of resident communications and site activities

    Work closely with site management teams to minimise disruption to residents

    Support the delivery of projects within occupied residential environments

    Requirements

    Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within construction, social housing, refurbishment, or facade remediation projects

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

    Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

    Full UK driving licence preferred

    Willingness to travel to sites across Kent and East Anglia
