How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Summary

    This is an exciting opportunity to join a global market leader in the manufacture of professional coffee machines as a Field Service Engineer. With fantastic training and career opportunities.

    Covering SOUTH Birmingham- OXFORD areas ( Along the M40 areas.

    Experience Required

    Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role is advantageous.

    Must have previous electrical and mechanical experience.

    Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong electrical skills and mechanical skills.

    Due to ongoing expansion and growth plans they are looking to expand their Field Service Engineering team within and around the SOUTH BIRMINGHAM -OXFORD areas ( Along the M40)

    Duties

    Install and set up coffee equipment on customers premises making the appropriate electrical, water and drain connections in a professional manner and in compliance with any relevant legislation and company procedures.

    Conduct the demonstration of the equipment at staff training sessions, covering safe use of the machine, preparation of beverages and cleaning procedures.

    Attend customers sites to carry out routine servicing on equipment in line with established company procedures.

    Attend customers sites to carry out mechanical and / or electrical repairs to faulty or failed equipment. When permanent repairs are not possible due to fault or non-availability of correct spares, report the situation and thereby seek guidance. Whenever possible, the engineer must endeavour to repair failed equipment to ensure continued trading for the customer.Assist customers Insurance Company surveyors in carrying out Pressure Boiler Inspections in line with Pressure Systems Regulations (PSSR 2000)
