A growing manufacturer of specialist vehicles in Wolverhampton is looking to recruit an experienced Auto Electrician to join their skilled engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work, as every project involves bespoke vehicle builds rather than repetitive production line tasks.
The Auto Electrician Role
As an Auto Electrician, you will be involved in the installation, servicing, and fault-finding of electrical systems on specialist commercial vehicles. You'll play a key role in ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Main Duties of the Auto Electrician
Fault finding and diagnosis of vehicle electrical issues
Fitting and wiring electrical systems and components
Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance
Recording completed work and materials used
Following all company health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For in The Auto Electrician
Previous experience within a Vehicle Electrical, Auto Electrical, or similar position
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
What's on Offer For The Auto Electrician
£15.00-£17.00 per hour with clear progression routes
Overtime paid at time and a half
No weekend working
Early finish every Friday (12:30pm)
