How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Tax team is highly regarded and consists of a Head of Team, two Partners, a Senior Manager, three Managers, an Assistant Manager, a Tax Executive, and a dedicated Team PA.     The Role:


    This is a standout opportunity for a graduate completing their degree in 2026, or currently in their final year of study, who is eager to build a long-term career in Tax within a professional services environment.


    You will work closely with senior members of the team on a broad range of tax-related matters, gaining exposure to both technical and client-facing work from the outset.

    Key responsibilities would involve:


    • Analyse data from multiple prime documents; collate and structure
    • data in Excel to produce source schedules and tax computations
    • Review data sources to identify omissions or inconsistencies
    • Assist in the preparation of client Disclosure Reports and advisory reports
    • Conduct research on clients, financial products, and tax matters
    • Support client onboarding and day-to-day correspondence
    • Assist with the preparation of marketing materials and liaise with the marketing team
    • Maintain internal databases, including referrals checker and case monitor
    • Provide general support to the Tax Team as required
    • Deliver high levels of client service at all times


    You will benefit from close mentorship and ongoing support from senior members of the team, with a genuine focus on your long-term progression and development. The team takes a collaborative approach to training, offering regular exposure to high-value work, meaningful responsibility, and clear opportunities to develop both your technical expertise and commercial awareness as your career progresses.


    Requirements


    • Educated to degree level in Economics, Maths, or another analytical discipline, with a minimum 2:1 classification
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
    • Highly organised
    • Strong IT skills (in particular Excel)
    • Strong attention to detail


    The firm will fully support the successful candidate through their ATT and CTA qualifications, so prior tax qualifications are not required.
