How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Product Designer (UX/UI)

Location - Uk, Leeds (Hybrid 2/3 days in office)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing digital business that’s transforming how customers purchase and manage essential home services through technology-led experiences.

Following continued growth, they’re looking for a Product Designer to join a collaborative product and engineering team focused on improving customer journeys across web and mobile platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded UX/Product Designer who enjoys balancing hands-on design delivery with research, experimentation, and product thinking in a fast-paced environment.

    The Role

You’ll play a key role in shaping customer experiences across digital products, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, user-centred solutions.

This role would suit someone who thrives in agile environments and enjoys owning problems from discovery through to delivery and iteration.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Designing and improving customer journeys across web and mobile experiences
    • Conducting user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing
    • Using data and insights to inform design decisions
    • Creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and low-fi concepts
    • Collaborating closely with engineers throughout the product lifecycle
    • Supporting experimentation and continuous optimisation initiatives
    • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discovery sessions
    • Contributing to and evolving design systems and best practices
    • Working within a build-test-learn product environment

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience designing digital products within product-led or agile environments
    • Strong UX capability with a user-first mindset
    • Experience running qualitative and quantitative research
    • Ability to translate business and customer needs into practical design solutions
    • Comfortable working across the full product development lifecycle
    • Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
    • Understanding of design systems and scalable UX patterns
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Commercial awareness and a data-informed approach to design
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams

    Nice to Have

    • UI design capability
    • Mobile app experience
    • Experience working in high-growth or startup-style environments
    • Familiarity with experimentation/conversion optimisation
