How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Head of HR

    Location: London

    Working Arrangement: 4 days a week are required in the London office.

    Requirements: Extensive generalist HR experience at a senior level and team management experience.




    This role will deliver senior-level HR support and leadership to the London office, serving as the primary point of contact for operational HR matters and driving key HR projects.




    Key Responsibilities


    • Partner with global leadership to design and deliver talent management strategies for the London office.
    • Lead HR Operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant service delivery.
    • Provide strategic leadership to Professional Development and Recruitment teams, driving performance and alignment with business goals.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, managers, and employees on HR matters, including performance, policy, and employee relations.
    • Ensure full compliance with UK employment law and alignment with firm-wide HR policies and standards.
    • Oversee HR budget, employee benefits, and leave programmes to support organisational priorities and employee wellbeing.
    • Drive continuous improvement through HR systems, data analytics, and technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience.




    About You


    • Significant HR leadership experience ideally gained within the legal sector and/or professional services with full CIPD qualification.
    • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery
