How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Responsibilities


    Procurement & Ordering

    • Procure all items required for site setup, including the hire of plant and equipment.

    • Own all procurement and ordering for your unit, ensuring POs cover the full install batch

    (materials and labour) and enabling Project Coordinators to place call-offs during the project.

    • Track order status and resolve discrepancies or delays with suppliers.

    • Work with Commercial Lead to ensure any variations are procured correctly with competitive and

    comprehensive quotations, especially following post-PIBI review.


    Collaboration & Planning

    • Attend internal handover meetings to gain knowledge of measures, designs, and installs.

    • Work with Retrofit Coordinator and Retrofit Designer to accurately quote each property, create kit

    lists and liaise with suppliers.

    • Schedule calls with subcontractors after completing PIBIs, reviewing and updating material lists

    with any subcontractor-specific requirements.

    • Work closely with Project Management to plan materials at least 7 days in advance, aiming for

    delivery the week before installations.

    • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.


    Supplier & Subcontractor Compliance

    • Constantly seek opportunities to expand the pool of subcontractors and resources.

    • Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers are compliantly onboarded; address issues directly with

    contractors and inform the Central Team.

    • Liaise with Project Managers to manage site inventory and return any excess stock for credit in

    coordination with the SPM.


    Urgent & Ad Hoc Requirements

    • Prioritise urgent requirements to minimise impact on project timelines.

    • Escalate unresolved issues to the Project Coordinator or Commercial Lead as appropriate.

    • Verify and update material lists; escalate any deviations or budget impacts to the Commercial

    Lead.
