How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We're Hiring: Creative Designer

📍 Angel, Islington, London (Fully Office-Based)

    💼 Full-Time, Permanent

    💰 Competitive Salary

    🗓 Start Date: July 2026

    ----------

Golf Travel Group are looking for a Creative Designer to join our growing marketing team and become the person who makes our work look as good as it performs.

You’ll design high-performing paid ads and email campaigns across two travel brands, helping shape the visual identity and creative systems behind millions of monthly impressions.

This role is perfect for someone who loves design that actually drives results, not just work that looks pretty in a portfolio.

    You’ll work across:

    • Golf Travel Centre 🇬🇧
    • GolfTours.com 🇺🇸

We’ve been named in the Sunday Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies three years running (2023, 2024 & 2025) and we’re only getting started!

    ----------

    What you'll be doing:

    Your Core Focus

    • Designing paid social ads for Meta (static, carousel & occasional motion/video)
    • Creating high-performing email campaigns and reusable templates
    • Building scalable design systems across ads and email
    • Working closely with the marketing team to turn briefs into creative that performs

    The Variety

    • Presentation decks
    • Event collateral
    • Business cards
    • Partner materials
    • Supporting wider creative direction across both brands

    Bonus Skills (Not Essential)

    • Video editing for Reels and social content
    • Motion graphics experience

    ----------

    Who We're Looking For

You’ve ideally got around 1–2 years of design experience and a portfolio that proves you can create work with a clear marketing purpose.

    Essentials

✔ Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign minimum)

✔ Experience designing paid social ads

✔ Experience designing email campaigns & templates

✔ Comfortable building reusable creative systems/templates

✔ Comfortable using AI tools like Claude as part of your workflow

✔ Someone who cares whether the creative performs, not just how it looks

    Nice To Have

➕ Video editing skills (Premiere, CapCut etc.)

➕ Interest in golf, travel or lifestyle brands

➕ Curiosity around marketing strategy, paid media & performance

    Probably Not A Fit If...

    • You mainly work from Canva templates
    • You’re primarily a social media manager rather than a designer
    • You prefer being told exactly what to make instead of solving creative problems yourself

    ----------

The Benefits Of Working at Golf Travel Group:

    ✨ Competitive salary

    🌴 25 days holiday + bank holidays

    ✈ Annual team trip

    ⛳ Frequent resort/content trips

🏨 Discounts on holidays through our brands

📍 Office based in Angel, Islington

📈 Genuine progression opportunities as the brands continue to grow

    ----------

    How To Apply:

    Send us:

    • Your CV
    • Your portfolio (most important part)

    We’d love to see:

    • Paid ads you’ve designed
    • Email campaigns/templates you’ve built
    • Any case studies or performance results
    • A little insight into your thinking/process

Looking forward to seeing your work 👏
