The Role:
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Qualifications Administrator to join our busy Qualifications Team. The role will involve working from the office at least 1 day a week and additional days and occasional travel may be required depending on work activities.

Responsibilities:
- Delivering excellent customer service by providing concise information in a timely manner.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries, transferring to the correct team or individual where required.
- Responding to queries received by post or email.
- Providing individual tailored advice and guidance to EPA applicants on the ICE’s application process.
- Acknowledgement of applications and issuing results.
- Dealing with the end-to-end processes of applications.
- Validating qualifications, seeking advice from the Education, Learning and Assessment team on non-standard qualifications.
- Updating and maintaining individual membership records on the ICE database
- Creating and issuing correspondence for candidates in line with agreed timelines and procedures.
- Creating and setting up of online meeting invitations for assessors and candidates.
- Processing results correspondence
- Preparation of information for registration with the Engineering Council
- Dealing with queries.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Assessors’ invoices and expenses via the expenses platform.
Key Skills:
- Competent user of MS applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word
- Accustomed to working with database systems.
- Ability to communicate and influence through use of strong writing and verbal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information of processes and systems.
- The ability to undertake a wide range of tasks during times of peak activity
- Self-motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise workload and to seek guidance when priorities conflict.
Experience:
- Experience of working in an office environment and working in a team.
- Experience of undertaking administration activities.
- Experience of working in a customer focused role.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications at secondary level or above.
