Head of Finance Transformation – 6 month contract - £750 a day outside IR35
A global media agency is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation professional to support a major post-merger integration programme.
This role will lead finance transformation and integration activity across a complex international business, with a particular focus on governance, reporting controls, process alignment, and stakeholder management across EMEA and US leadership teams.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record delivering finance transformation within media, advertising, marketing services, or similarly fast-paced global organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance transformation and post-merger integration initiatives.
- Drive alignment of finance processes, reporting, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Support integration of finance operating models across global teams.
- Establish strong programme governance, PMO disciplines, and executive reporting.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and US leadership teams.
- Manage programme risks, dependencies, milestones, and delivery plans.
- Support organisational change and implementation of new ways of working.
Experience Required
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Experience with finance systems integration and process optimisation.
- Media agency, advertising, marketing services, or professional services background is essential.
- Proven finance transformation and PMI experience within global organisations.
- Strong understanding of finance operations, reporting controls, and governance.
- Experience operating within matrixed businesses with US reporting lines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced transformation environments.
