Hampshire County Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker to join its Family Help Team in Fareham on a full-time locum basis. The Role
As a Senior Social Worker within the Family Help Team, you will play a key role in supporting children and families through effective assessment, intervention, and safeguarding practices.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing complex cases involving children, young people, and families
* Completing assessments, care planning, and risk management to ensure positive outcomes
* Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members
* Working closely with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated interventions
* Attending child protection conferences, court proceedings, and statutory reviews where required
* Promoting relationship-based practice and strengths-focused interventions
* Ensuring accurate and timely case recording in line with statutory requirements
