How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Drop Table is a Microsoft accredited Solutions partner, focused on Cloud & DevSecOps consultancy. We help organisations design, secure and run modern cloud platforms.

    We have also developed Drop Table Pulse, our SaaS platform delivering continuous security, compliance, and governance visibility across Azure DevOps.


    Our clients include financial services, public sector, and enterprise organisations operating in complex, regulated environments.


    The Opportunity

    We’re hiring a Head of Sales to build and lead our revenue function across consultancy and SaaS.

    This is a hands-on leadership role, you’ll define strategy, generate pipeline, close enterprise deals, and build the future sales team from the ground up.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and execute sales strategy across services and SaaS
    • Build a scalable, repeatable sales pipeline from scratch
    • Lead complex enterprise deals (£100k–£500k+)
    • Engage senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CISO)
    • Develop partner-led growth within the Microsoft ecosystem
    • Define GTM approach across financial services, public sector, and enterprise
    • Build and scale the sales function (process, tooling, team)


    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven sales in cloud, DevOps, or security consulting
    • Track record of building and scaling a sales function
    • Strong enterprise sales experience (multi-stakeholder, long-cycle deals)
    • Experience across consultancy and/or SaaS models
    • Good understanding of Microsoft technologies (Azure, security, DevOps)
    • Commercially sharp, hands-on and results-driven
