How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Company

Our client is a well established events business - part of a well-known media group - with a strong UK portfolio. They operate in a fast paced, collaborative environment where design plays a central role in brand engagement and audience growth.

    The Role

You will take the lead on designing a wide range of print and digital materials that support event campaigns from concept development through to delivery. • Maintain and organise digital asset libraries and design files.
    • Provide occasional design support on site at events.

    About You

    • Five or more years of experience in an agency, publishing or in-house design environment.
    • Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud across Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
    • Confident using Canva and familiar with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
    • Able to balance creative thinking with rigorous attention to detail.
    • Comfortable delivering work across print and digital formats.
    • A team orientated designer who communicates well and takes feedback constructively.
    • A portfolio that shows strong layout, typography and brand alignment.

    Nice to Haves

    • Experience working within the events or energy sector.
    • Familiarity with Jira, Monday.com, Teams, Slack or Zoom.

Why would you want to join?

This is a chance to take real ownership of creative output, broaden your skill set and contribute to the evolution of a recognised events brand. If you enjoy variety, collaboration and producing design that makes an impact, this role offers long term growth in a supportive environment.
