How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, an internationally recognised London-based interior design studio, is looking for a Midweight Interior Designer to join its growing team. Renowned for award-winning work across luxury hospitality sectors, including restaurants, hotels, and private members’ clubs, the studio is known for its refined, timeless approach and boutique-style service.

The ideal candidate will bring around 3–5 years of experience working on high-end hospitality interiors, with a strong eye for design, materials, craftsmanship, and detailing. You will be comfortable supporting projects from concept through to completion, collaborating closely with senior designers while contributing creative ideas and technical expertise throughout each phase.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of design concepts and space planning strategies, while taking ownership of FF&E packages, including sourcing materials, selecting furniture, preparing specifications, and coordinating with suppliers. The role also involves producing tender and construction drawing packages, creating presentations and mood boards, and liaising with contractors, consultants, and external suppliers during both design and delivery stages. You will also help mentor junior team members and play an active role in maintaining a positive and collaborative studio environment.

Candidates should have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office, alongside a solid understanding of materials, finishes, fabrication methods, and construction detailing. Excellent organisation, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, as is the ability to work proactively within a fast-paced design studio.

If you feel this opportunity could be a good fit, we would be delighted to receive your CV and portfolio showcasing relevant project experience.

The studio offers 1 day working from home each week (Fridays).
