How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Safado UK Ltd is building Safado, an 18+ social/dating app focused on profiles, chat, map discovery, subscriptions, reporting tools, blocking, real-time user activity, and future social gaming features.

We are looking for a serious, honest, reliable, and technically strong person to join the project as a Technical Co-Founder or long-term Senior Technical Partner. This is not a normal short-term developer job. We are looking for someone who understands the vision of the company and wants to help build Safado properly for the long term.

This role may be suitable for someone interested in an equity-based structure or company percentage, to be discussed depending on experience, commitment, technical ability, and the value brought to the project.

    Responsibilities

Lead or support the technical direction of the Safado mobile app and backend.

Review the existing codebase and identify bugs, performance issues, security risks, and architecture problems.

Work with the current development team and help improve delivery, structure, quality, and accountability.

Improve app performance, scalability, privacy, security, and reliability.

Support features such as user profiles, real-time chat, map view, subscriptions, push notifications, reports, blocking, moderation tools, and in-app social/gaming features.

Help plan the technical roadmap and make sure the app is built in a scalable and professional way.

Provide clear updates, explain technical decisions, and show proof of completed work through builds, screenshots, videos, Git commits, or testing reports.

    Qualifications

Strong experience with mobile app development, preferably Flutter.

Experience with backend APIs, Firebase/Firestore, real-time features, push notifications, and app performance optimization.

Experience with social apps, dating apps, marketplace apps, community platforms, map-based apps, or real-time communication apps is highly preferred.

Understanding of privacy, user safety, moderation, data protection, authentication, and secure app architecture.

Ability to work with an existing codebase without breaking what already works.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate technical issues independently.

Clear communication, honesty, reliability, and commitment are essential.

Experience with iOS and Android app store deployment, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and production builds is a strong advantage.

    Important

We are not looking for someone who only wants quick payment for small tasks. We are looking for the right technical person who can grow with the company, understand the product, and help Safado become a serious, scalable, and successful platform.

Best candidates will be practical, honest, organized, technically experienced, and able to think like a builder, not only like a coder.
