How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Property Lead (Lease Advisory) - Highly-regarded retail brand (occupier-side)


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MRICS-qualified surveyor to join the property team of a major UK retail business with a nationally recognised store portfolio across the UK & Ireland.


    This role would suit an individual with a strong background in lease advisory/landlord & tenant matters and retail estate management who is looking to move into, or further develop within, an in-house environment.


    Working closely with an experienced and highly regarded leadership team, you will play a key role in driving value and profitability across a substantial leased portfolio of retail stores. This is not an acquisition-focused role. Instead, the position centres on lease negotiations and driving cost-saving initiatives.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead negotiations on Lease renewals, Rent reviews, Regears, Lease restructures
    • Support the delivery of the wider property strategy across the UK & Ireland portfolio
    • Work closely with finance teams to assess store profitability and commercial performance
    • Manage relationships with landlords, agents and external consultants
    • Liaise with legal teams to ensure transactions are completed efficiently
    • Support wider property management and service charge processes
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including shopfitting and operations


    About You

    • MRICS qualified
    • Ideally, minimum 3–5+ years PQE
    • Background in retail/commercial property or lease advisory
    • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
    • Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
    • Collaborative and team-oriented personality
    • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced retail environment
    • Full UK driving licence required
