The Role
Leading a Year 6 class means high energy, high expectations, and high reward. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of preparing pupils for the next stage while ensuring every child feels confident, capable, and ready to succeed.
Direct experience teaching Year 6 is not essential-but a strong grasp of the UKS2 curriculum and the confidence to deliver it effectively is key.
This role would suit a teacher who:
Is an experienced practitioner (not suitable for ECTs)
Has a solid understanding of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
