How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About Thrive Partners

Thrive Partners is a leading online business coaching platform that empowers organisations to unlock their full potential through tailored coaching solutions. We specialise in providing personalised coaching and development programmes that foster positive cultural change, enhance leadership capabilities, and drive business performance.

Our platform supports a diverse global customer base ranging from SMEs to major enterprise organisations across multiple industries, delivering expert coaching at scale to users around the world.

    About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and delivery-focused Product Owner to help drive product execution across our web-based coaching platform and emerging product lines. The platform supports capabilities such as coaching delivery, scheduling, engagement, communications, reporting, and programme management.

Working closely with the CTO, customer-facing and engineering teams across the UK and India, you’ll play a central role in turning ideas, customer needs, and business priorities into intuitive product experiences and actionable delivery plans. You’ll own backlog management, requirements and user story definition, feature validation, and delivery collaboration across a fast-moving product environment.

The role is key to building the next generation of Thrive’s cloud-hosted SaaS platform, supporting initiatives across group coaching, personalised engagement, ecosystem integration and AI-assisted coaching experiences.

This is an opportunity to join a small, entrepreneurial and AI-aware scale-up where you’ll have significant autonomy, direct access to leadership, and the ability to shape product delivery. It's a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys collaborative working, creating engaging user experiences and a focus on continuous improvement.

The role reports to the CTO and is a remote-first position with up to 2 days per month in London. You must be UK-based and able to travel to London for team days.

    Key responsibilities

    Drive Product Delivery & Execution

    • Own and manage day-to-day product delivery across Thrive’s coaching platform.
    • Act as a key link between technology teams and wider business stakeholders including customer success, sales, marketing, coaching operations, and leadership.
    • Support the successful delivery of new features and platform improvements while balancing pace, quality, technical considerations, and evolving priorities.

Backlog Ownership, Requirements & Sprint Coordination

    • Gather business requirements and create clear product requirements, functional specifications and delivery documentation.
    • Create and refine user stories, functional specifications, user flows, and acceptance criteria with sufficient clarity for engineering teams.
    • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring engineering teams remain focused on the highest-value initiatives.

    Product Design & Feature Ideation

    • Lead and contribute to feature ideation, product behaviour definition, wireframing and early-stage product design concepts, thinking critically about how functionality should work from both user and business perspectives.
    • Work closely with UI/UX teams to shape and evolve the user experience, helping translate business requirements and product ideas into intuitive user journeys and feature interactions.
    • Use modern AI-assisted tooling to support rapid prototyping, workflow exploration, wireframing, and collaborative product discovery, helping accelerate iteration and product refinement.
    • Review and approve designs prior to development handover, ensuring solutions are intuitive, technically feasible, and implemented consistently across the product experience.

Delivery Support, Quality & Continuous Improvement

    • Work closely with engineering and QA teams throughout the delivery process to clarify requirements and resolve blockers quickly. Validate completed functionality and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
    • Maintain clear and up-to-date product documentation to support effective collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
    • Drive product and feature launches, coordinating with customer success and marketing teams to create communications and supporting content to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new capabilities.
    • Support the triage and prioritisation of product issues in collaboration with engineering teams.

    Skills & Experience

    Product Ownership & Delivery

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Technology, Product, UX, or related fields.
    • 5+ years experience as a Product Owner, Agile Business Analyst, or delivery-focused Product Manager within a software or technology-led environment.
    • Strong experience managing product backlogs, writing requirements, user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile delivery processes.
    • Comfortable coordinating with distributed development teams and working across the full product delivery lifecycle from requirements through to UAT and release.

    Collaboration & Communication

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain delivery momentum, and proactively resolve blockers or ambiguity.

    Product Design & Technical Fluency

    • Strong product intuition with the ability to think critically about feature behaviour, usability, workflows, and customer experience within SaaS products.
    • Experience collaborating with UI/UX teams on wireframes, workflows, user journeys, and product design handovers using tools such as Figma.
    • Sufficient technical fluency to communicate effectively with engineering teams and understand software delivery concepts, constraints, and dependencies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate requirements, identify delivery risks and dependencies, interpret user feedback and operational issues, and make pragmatic decisions in a fast-moving product environment.

    Tools & Ways of Working

    • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Linear, or similar platforms.
    • Comfortable working in a remote-first, highly collaborative environment using tools such as Microsoft Teams, Figma, and modern product collaboration platforms.
    • Experience working on SaaS or platform-based products, particularly within startup, scale-up, or high-growth businesses.

    Ideal Experience & Personal Attributes

    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, structured, and accurate product requirements and delivery artefacts.
    • Passion for creating engaging, simple, and intuitive user experiences, with an appreciation for good product design, usability, and customer experience.
    • Experience within coaching, learning & development (L&D), HR tech, engagement, wellbeing, or people-development platforms would be beneficial.
    • Experience leveraging AI-assisted tooling across the product delivery lifecycle.
    • Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a willingness to take ownership and help drive continuous improvement across product delivery and team operations.
