How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our client is a leading global financial services organisation with a long-established international presence and a reputation for delivering high-quality advisory and investment solutions. With a strong footprint across Europe, the firm operates a collaborative and well-structured HR function supporting a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce.

They are seeking an EMEA Payroll Coordinator to join their London-based HR team. This role sits within a regional payroll function responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll operations across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, supporting employees and stakeholders, and maintaining strong relationships with outsourced providers. The position offers a blend of operational ownership and stakeholder interaction within a well-established team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and submit monthly payroll inputs to external payroll providers across multiple EMEA countries.
    • Review and reconcile payroll outputs, ensuring accuracy and compliance prior to approval.
    • Manage post-payroll activities, including invoice processing and related administration.
    • Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing timely and high-quality support to employees and internal stakeholders.
    • Support the management of shared payroll inboxes and ensure queries are handled efficiently.
    • Assist with ongoing process improvements and ensure adherence to internal controls and governance standards.

    Experience:

    • Prior experience managing or supporting EMEA payroll processes, ideally within a multinational environment.
    • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
    • Effective communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders across different regions.
    • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
    • A collaborative team player with a supportive and adaptable approach.
