How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

International Arbitration Associate (5–7 PQE) | London

A leading disputes practice is seeking a talented International Arbitration Associate to join its high-performing London team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-value, and often market-leading disputes across a broad range of sectors including energy, infrastructure, financial services, technology, and international trade. The team advises corporates, sovereign entities, financial institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth clients on sophisticated cross-border matters, often involving multiple jurisdictions and high-profile counterparties.

The successful candidate will play a key role on major international arbitrations under a range of institutional rules including LCIA, ICC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL, with exposure to both commercial and investment treaty disputes.

    The Role

    You will:

    • Work closely with highly regarded partners and senior lawyers on strategically significant international disputes
    • Take responsibility for drafting pleadings, witness evidence, and submissions
    • Be involved in advocacy preparation, hearings, and tribunal strategy
    • Manage complex factual and expert evidence across multi-jurisdictional matters
    • Liaise directly with clients, counsel, experts, and overseas law firms
    • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
    • Have genuine opportunities for progression within a collaborative and ambitious team

    Candidate Profile

The team is interested in candidates who:

    • Are England & Wales qualified and trained at a respected UK or international law firm
    • Have 5–7 years’ PQE with a strong background in international arbitration and complex commercial disputes
    • Possess excellent drafting and analytical skills
    • Are commercially minded, confident working directly with clients, and capable of running substantial workstreams independently
    • Thrive in a fast-paced and intellectually demanding environment
    • Have experience working on cross-border disputes and coordinating international teams

    Why Apply?

This role offers the chance to join a genuinely elite disputes platform with a strong international reputation and a premium client base. The team combines top-quality work with a supportive and collegiate culture, offering associates meaningful responsibility, strong mentorship, and clear career development prospects.
