What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from fully qualified educators as well as highly experienced mathematics instructors:
- QTS or PGCE is preferred, but extensive school-based math teaching experience and strong subject knowledge are highly valued.
- Deep understanding of the national curriculum for Mathematics, with the ability to break down complex algebraic, geometric, and statistical concepts.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one) and the Right to Work in the UK.
Core Expectations & Responsibilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with disengaged students and break down "math anxiety" to foster a growth mindset.
- Confidence supporting SEND learners, ensuring complex mathematical abstract concepts are adapted with scaffolded learning so every child can succeed.
- Strong behavior management skills to maintain a focused, structured, and respectful learning environment conducive to problem-solving.
- A flexible teaching approach with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with school Math departments and support staff.
