How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This is a Part-Time 3-day role based in Croydon.


    Role Description


    We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Personal Assistant to support our Chief Executive Officer in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

    Working closely with the CEO, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support, helping to manage daily schedules, coordinate meetings, oversee key administrative processes, and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations across the organisation.

    Responsibilities will include diary management, handling correspondence, preparing documents, coordinating internal and external communications, and supporting ongoing projects and operations. The successful candidate will become a trusted point of coordination within the organisation and play an important role in supporting the continued growth of Bright Futures 4 All.

    This role would suit someone who is passionate about supporting meaningful work within the charity, education, and community sector, and who thrives in a varied and people-focused role.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Manage the CEO’s diary, schedule, and appointments
    • Organise meetings, events, and internal/external communications
    • Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
    • Support the coordination of organisational projects and operations
    • Act as a key point of communication between the CEO and stakeholders
    • Assist with general administrative and organisational tasks
    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
    • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation


    Qualifications & Experience


    • Experience in Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Support roles
    • Strong diary management and organisational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally
    • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
    • Confidence coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams and general office systems/tools
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Previous experience supporting senior leaders or executives is desirable
