You will be responsible for manufacturing high precision parts on mainly 4 and 5 axis milling and turn/ mill CNC machines, as well as general machining tasks.
CNC Operators Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operation of various multi axis CNC machines.
Inspect parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with drawings.
Carefully follow procedures and safety guidelines. This includes company procedures, operating standards, and production methods.
Maintain an accurate log of any production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
Maximise machine uptime through preventative measures (TPM).
Safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
Flexibility to support production requirements
Work appropriately with other Teams MembersCNC Operator Skills & Behaviours:
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality work that is manufactured to closely controlled specifications (Defence and Aerospace requirements).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.CNC Operator Skills & Experience:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
