How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher on behalf of a friendly and ambitious primary school in Bury for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established school that prides itself on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

    The school is recognised locally for its strong sense of community, excellent behaviour standards and supportive leadership team.     The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons within Key Stage 1, supporting pupils as they continue to develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills. A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and experience preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations would be highly beneficial. The school are looking for a teacher who can build positive relationships, motivate learners and contribute positively to the wider school community.

    This role would suit both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs seeking to establish themselves within a supportive and well-organised school environment. Staff wellbeing and development are a priority, with access to ongoing CPD and strong mentoring support available.

    Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a passion for primary education. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate learning effectively are essential.
