A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Maidstone office. The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion. You’ll work closely with clients, manage project teams, and ensure technical excellence across all stages of delivery.
Projects will vary across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public sector developments, giving you exposure to a diverse and technically challenging portfolio.
Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design projects and provide technical guidance
Prepare calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
Attend client and design team meetings
Mentor and support junior engineers
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the business
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Support business development and client relationship management
Requirements
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Experience working within a consultancy environment
Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services design
Proficient with industry software and relevant design standards
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous
