How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    1:1 Teaching Assistant

    Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant to work on a long term basis at an excellent school in Driffield. This role will ideally start ASAP, and last until July 17th in the first instance, with the possibility of this being reviewed in the future. The working hours for this role will be between 8:30 and 3:30 PM, with payment ranging from £95.0 to £110 per day depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full time, temporary role.

    This role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a student who requires additional support. We will need a A candidate who understands how to work well with students with SEND is also essential for this role. You will be acting to ensure that the student feels safe and secure in their new environment (they have recently relocated to the Hull area), and follow them in their learning journey.

    Located in Driffield, this school is easily accessible from different parts of Hull via Train, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive. The school is part of a small, local academy chain that has great training provided to all their new staff. Temporary staff members get trained just the same as permanent staff members so that they are upskilled. Further training and support on working with SEND students is available in this booking.
