If you’re a skilled fabricator who takes pride in producing clean work properly rather than being rushed through jobs, this could be worth a conversation.
This is a busy manufacturing environment with a full in-house sheet metal workshop supporting a range of fabricated metal projects. Workloads are growing, and they need another experienced pair of hands on the shop floor to help keep quality and output where it needs to be.
The role will involve a mix of sheet metal fabrication, folding, punching and TIG welding across low-volume and bespoke work. They’re looking for someone who can work from drawings, think practically and take ownership of the quality of their work.
This isn’t repetitive production-line welding. The environment is varied, hands-on and manufacturing-led.
What they’re looking for:
* TIG welding experience
* Sheet metal fabrication background
* Experience using folding and punching machinery
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Someone reliable, practical and comfortable working in a fast-moving workshop
Any exposure to fabrication or manufacturing environments producing bespoke products would be useful.
