A highly respected Asbestos consultancy is on the lookout for a self-assured Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst based in the South East. This company would like someone who can hit the ground running, travelling to a mixed portfolio of client sites. As you will be completing 4 stage clearances, re-inspection surveys, fibre counting and collecting asbestos samples. Our client can offer progression and training for P certs with brilliant salaries and overtime for a self-reliant Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Candidates will be considered from the following locations: Enfield, Watford, Basildon, Chelmsford, Harlow, Dartford, Bromley, Croydon, Wembley, Southall, Gravesend, Chatham, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Bishop’s Stortford, Braintree, Harrow, Slough, Luton, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Saffron Walden, Halstead, Haverhill, Colchester, Sudbury
Experience / Qualifications:
* Hands on experience working for an UKAS accredited company
* Must hold BOHS P certs such as P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications
* Technical understanding of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
* Sound literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Able to travel in line with company needs
* Professional manner and resistant
The Role:
* Carrying out personal, leak, smoke, re-occupation and background air testing
* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
* Fibre counting on site
* Performing 4 stage clearances
* Adhering to safety guidelines
* Collecting asbestos samples from site
* Doing re-inspections surveys
