Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled temporary Machine Operator with experience on grinding machines in the Basildon area to support one of our clients in the Manufacturing Industry. This role is perfect for someone confident working with machinery.

Key resonsilities

Follow all factory procedurs regarding safety, production, and quality control
Read and interpret job sheets detailing tooling requirements
Load tool blanks into machine and set up parameters as rquired
Start machine and monitor machine operation for consistency.
Measuring using standard inspection equipment to ensure conformance to job specification.
Adjust the machine to keep strict tolerances
Cleaning machines and workspacePreferred Qualifications and skills

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering enviroment
Knowledge of cutting tools
Basic engineering geometric measurments
Attention to detailsHours Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
