How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager

    Based in Hertford with Flexible/Hybrid working

    Basic salary between £60,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped OTE and excellent benefits and international travel.

    About the role

    They are seeking a commercially astute Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager with at least four years of sponsorship or event sales experience, including a strong track record of selling high-value packages to technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT vendors while consistently meeting and exceeding targets.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in its commercial success, building relationships with technology and cybersecurity vendors across North America and Europe and creating bespoke packages that deliver strong results.

    Ideal profile

    The successful candidate will have experience managing enterprise-level deals worth £100k+ and a strong understanding of CIO, CISO, and wider C-suite audiences, along with the dynamics of senior executive engagement programmes.

    Unlike more traditional event sales roles, this position offers the freedom to understand each client’s needs and shape the right solution from across the full portfolio. The approach is consultative, with a focus on building tailored commercial packages rather than selling from a standard template.

    * Sponsorship Sales Expertise: Experience selling event sponsorship or partnership packages, with the ability to articulate value and communicate ROI to senior stakeholders.

    * Consultative Approach: A client-first sales style, with the ability to listen carefully and build solutions around genuine client needs.

    * Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building skills and the credibility to engage confidently with C-level and VP-level stakeholders.

    * Mindset: Self-motivated, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

    * Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, including strong proposal and presentation skills.

    * Pipeline Management: The ability to manage a complex pipeline across different deal sizes and multiple geographies simultaneously.

    Duties

    * Business Development and Account Growth: Drive new business development while expanding existing accounts across the technology and cybersecurity vendor landscape in the UK, Europe, and North America.

    * Consultative Sales: Sell across the full portfolio using a consultative approach, creating bespoke multi-product packages aligned with each client’s commercial objectives.

    * Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing, demand generation, and partnership decision-makers within technology companies.

    * Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.

    * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content, events, and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.

    * Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, strong CRM hygiene, and clear pipeline reporting for senior leadership.

    * Brand Representation: Represent the company at events and industry forums as a strong ambassador for the brand.

    * Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the wider commercial strategy by bringing market intelligence and client insight back to the team
