How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Mobile Electrician  Bristol or surrounding areas  £17-18ph with door to door travel paid on top  Overtime at 1x1.5 after 8 hours  Van provided   
    Are you a NVQ Level 3 Electrician with AM2 and looking for a new role covering Bristol and surrounding areas, this is a mobile opportunity to work with a Bristol based Electrical company that deal with Planned and Reactive works as well as small and minor works to a portfolio of Commercial properties mainly within an hour of Bristol 
     
    Sites will include offices, retail, hospitality and some MOD / Government sites. BDS require for MOD and Gov 
     
    You will need to be experienced with all aspects of Electrical works from Planned Maintenance such as Emergency light and fire alarm testing, reactive maintenance such as power and lighting faults through to being able to do small and minor works installations within existing buildings (NO site work) 
     
    As Mobile Electrician you will be provided a van and fuel card and be paid door to door travel, to give you an example of earning please see below 
     
    40 hours on site + 30mins (min travel each way) = 45 hours paid with 5 hours at 1x1.5 Monday to Friday 
    Double bubble on Saturday PM and Sunday (overtime) 
    On call 1 in 6-8 weeks = an extra £100 per week on call, min of 4 hours pay at OT rate if called out 
     
    £17 per hour for NVQ level 3 with AM2 and 5 years experience based on 45 hours including travel at 1x1.5 =£41990 
    £18 per hour for NVQ level 3 with AM2 and 2391 testing based on 45 hours including travel at 1x1.5 =£49140 
     
    The above is based on a minimum 30 mins travel each way and most weeks you will be somewhere between this and 50hours so earning will be more. 
     
    To be selected for interview you will need to be a fully qualified Electrician with Level 3 NVQ and AM2, if you don't have testing 2391 this company will pay for this after a successful probation period and increase your money once qualified. 
     
    You will be able to use the van for personal use if you choose to opt in to the policy although this is not needed if you don't require
