? About the Role
Gi Group is recruiting Car Compound Drivers to join a leading automotive logistics company based at Portbury Dock, near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for vehicles, and want to build a long-term career in the automotive sector.
? Key Responsibilities
Vehicle movement - Safely drive and relocate vehicles around the compound and wider site
Vehicle checks - Carry out basic pre‑ and post‑movement inspections
Accurate parking - Park vehicles following site maps and procedures
Team collaboration - Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
Safety standards - Maintain high levels of safety and professionalism at all times
✅ Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 points
Confident driving skills across manual, automatic, and electric vehicles
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Previous experience in vehicle handling or automotive logistics is desirable but not essential
