How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Join a global packaging manufacturer at the forefront of materials compliance, supporting major international brands across the EMEA region. This is a highly visible Regulatory Affairs role where you’ll take ownership of compliance strategy, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in protecting both product safety and brand reputation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to step into a strategic, customer-facing position, with genuine influence across the business and exposure to evolving sustainability and packaging regulations.

    Why Join This Business?

    • Work directly with senior leadership in a high-impact, EMEA-wide role
    • Opportunity to shape regulatory strategy in a business-critical function
    • Exposure to Tier‑1 global brands and complex customer environments
    • Influence industry direction through engagement with trade bodies and regulatory developments
    • Strong long-term stability within a well-established global organisation
    • Supportive, collaborative culture with real ownership and autonomy
    • Competitive package including bonus and wider benefits

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead regulatory compliance across EMEA for packaging materials and food contact applications
    • Translate complex legislation (e.g. REACH, FCM, PPWR) into clear, actionable guidance for the business
    • Act as the primary regulatory contact for key customers, supporting technical discussions and compliance queries
    • Prepare and review Declarations of Compliance (DoCs) and technical documentation
    • Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business risks and impacts
    • Support supplier approval processes, ensuring materials meet regulatory requirements
    • Participate in supplier audits and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies
    • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and R&D to support product and customer requirements
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the regulatory function
    • Contribute to industry engagement through trade associations and working groups

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong background in Regulatory Affairs within packaging, materials, chemicals or a related industry
    • In-depth knowledge of EU Food Contact legislation and chemical compliance frameworks (REACH / CLP)
    • Experience working with customers on regulatory or compliance-related topics
    • Ability to translate technical regulations into practical business decisions
    • Exposure to supplier management, audits, or materials approval processes
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at multiple levels
    • Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to compliance
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Food Science or similar
    • Additional regulatory or auditing certifications beneficial but not essential

    Who This Role Suits Best:

    • Regulatory Affairs Managers looking to step into a more strategic, EMEA-focused role
    • Senior Regulatory Specialists ready to take on broader ownership and stakeholder influence
    • Candidates from packaging, coatings, chemicals or FMCG supply chains
    • Professionals who enjoy combining technical expertise with business-facing responsibilities
    • Individuals looking for a role with real impact, visibility, and progression potential

If you’re a Regulatory Affairs professional looking to take the next step into a strategic, high-impact role within a global packaging business, we’d love to hear from you.
