Finance Assistant – Retail – London – Hybrid working – £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
A growing business operating within logistics and supply chain services is seeking a Finance Assistant to support a newly expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for junior with strong transactional finance experience to join a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate customer invoices in line with agreed pricing structures, service levels, and operational data.
- Reconcile billing and operational records, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support accounts payable and receivable activities, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment tracking.
- Assist with financial reporting, revenue tracking, and profitability analysis for operational activities.
- Help develop and improve scalable finance processes, controls, and documentation for a growing business area.
- Collaborate closely with finance, commercial, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.
Requirements
- Must have 1+ year working in Finance, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced excel skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload and adapt within a fast-moving and evolving business.
