How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

SPACE Architects is looking for a talented BIM Coordinator to join our award-winning team.

As our work continues to grow across architecture, research and digital delivery, we are looking for someone who can support project teams in the effective use of BIM, Revit and digital construction workflows.

    Why Choose SPACE Architects?

As a B Corp-certified, three-star Best Companies rated, and RIBA award-winning studio, we’re committed to making a positive impact on people, the planet and the places we design for.

    • People-First Philosophy

We believe architecture is as much about people as it is about buildings. As one of the UK’s top-rated employers, we support the growth of every team member through continuous learning, clear development pathways, and a genuinely collaborative environment.

    • Purpose-Led Practice

Our work is grounded in responsibility. Whether we’re delivering net zero schools, revitalising heritage buildings or creating contemporary retail stores, we place sustainability and long-term value at the heart of everything we do.

    • Creative Culture

We question convention, test ideas openly and make space for design thinking through weekly design reviews, Thinking Thursdays and dedicated time for experimentation and R&D.

    Your Role Will Involve

    • Supporting project teams with the day-to-day coordination, setup and delivery of BIM workflows across a range of sectors.
    • Assisting with model auditing, clash detection and federated model coordination to support project delivery.
    • Helping to develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, Revit templates, families and internal digital standards.
    • Supporting compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant BIM standards and protocols.
    • Acting as a point of contact for Revit and Navisworks queries, helping colleagues resolve technical issues and improve model quality.
    • Exploring tools such as Dynamo, Revizto and scripting to improve workflow efficiency, coordination and quality.

    What You'll Bring

    • A proactive approach to supporting BIM delivery across live projects.
    • A good understanding of Revit, model coordination and digital construction workflows.
    • Experience supporting BIM workflows within an architectural or construction environment.
    • A working knowledge of Navisworks, clash detection and federated model processes.
    • Familiarity with ISO 19650 and related BIM standards, protocols and best practice.
    • Clear communication skills when working with project teams, consultants and fellow Spacers.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative and attention to detail.
    • An interest in emerging technologies, digital tools and sustainable design practices.
    • A commitment to maintaining high standards of model quality, coordination and project delivery.
    • A responsible approach to duties appropriate to your role and level of experience.
    • A commitment to working in line with the business vision and values, supporting both practice-wide and individual objectives.

    What We're Looking For

    • Experience working in architectural, BIM or digital construction environments.
    • A degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, BIM or a related discipline.
    • Strong Autodesk Revit skills, with knowledge of Navisworks.
    • Experience with Dynamo, Revizto or scripting tools would be an advantage.
    • A sound understanding of BIM coordination processes across project stages.
    • Awareness of quality management, CDM Health and Safety regulations, and design risk management.

    What We Offer at SPACE

At SPACE, we recognise that while formal training has its place, there is more we can do.

We offer various opportunities for professional development to our team members, which include:

    • Hybrid, flexible working arrangements to support individual circumstances.
    • A Continuous Professional Development programme.
    • Bi-annual development discussions and monthly one-to-ones.
    • Internal and external training aligned with SPACE priorities.
    • Thinking Thursday sessions, covering a subject of particular interest for an hour every week.
    • Friday morning design reviews, where everyone is welcome to join, share thoughts and provide feedback.

Furthermore, we provide a supportive work environment that promotes work–life balance and wellbeing. We offer a range of perks and benefits to our team members, including access to an in-house gym, regular team activities, dedicated days off to support causes our Spacers care deeply about, our annual summer gathering, and the opportunity to take part in our 70th anniversary programme of events throughout 2026.

If you’re ready to support meaningful work in an environment that values digital innovation, collaboration and impact, get in touch or apply via LinkedIn.
