How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This brilliant business is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of coffee machines, beans and ingredients. Specialising in the on the go market their premium coffee and systems can be found across the convenience and hospitality markets.


    Following a change of leadership, we are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking sales leader to spearhead their next phase of growth. Working closely with the Managing Director and Chairman you will take ownership of the complete UK sales function.

    You will be armed with a committed team and exceptional operational delivery which can support substantial growth.


    As the Head of Sales you will be focused on the following:


    • Setting the UK sales strategy
    • Working with the marketing team to develop brilliant communications to drive the top of the sales funnel.
    • Creating a winning sales culture with clear standards and communications.
    • Supporting, training and mentoring the sales team. Create a brilliant environment in which they can thrive.
    • Taking ownership for all commercial recruitment. Remember, this is about growth and there is huge opportunity to expand the UK footprint.
    • Getting involved with customers, leading from the front and supporting the team with key wins.
    • Full P&L and budget control




    We’re looking for a hungry-to-succeed and ambitious sales leader. While experience in the retail and hospitality markets would be great, it is your proven skills at building and growing successful sales cultures that we are really interested in.


    This is a fast paced, energetic business and one that never rests. You will need to reflect that.


    Business to business experience is a distinct advantage. As is experience of leading and growing both internal and external field sales teams.


    The coffee market is enormous and a really fun industry to get involved in. If you feel you can make a difference and you would like more excitement in your job then we want to hear from you.
