Procurement Assistant Role
Based 5 days a week in London
You will be going through the Level 4/5 CIPS Qualification

Specific Duties
- Reviewing purchasing requirements as per project specification
- Sourcing, negotiating and purchasing of materials and plant
- Coordinating deliveries for site, liaising with suppliers and site staff
- Reviewing invoices for plant and approve to the finance department for payment in accordance with terms
- Communicating any problem invoices with suppliers
- Assisting the commercial team with administrative duties by keeping databases and reports up to date
- Check and obtain all “BID” information such as quotes, and rates used in the tender using OSCA files as per the BMS protocols for locations
- With the QS review the buying gains sheet and understand the requirements of the procurement required for the project and work within the budgets set for each element.
- Prepare information to assist the QS with applications for the project as required to enable claims for materials on site
- Understand all project contractual requirements and ensure these are stepped down to suppliers and sub-contractors as required
- Ensure that proactive measures are implemented to address and mitigate project risks in all phases of the project with regards to delivery of materials
