Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing company based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role offering a split between warehouse duties and van driving responsibilities. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with heavy manual work and have previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly environment.
The Role:
Assisting with the assembly and preparation of kitchen unit components
Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
Loading and unloading products and materials
Van driving duties, including local deliveries and collections
Supporting general warehouse and production duties as required
Please note: this role involves lifting, carrying, bending, and being on your feet for the majority of the day.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or labouring experience is essential
Experience within a physically demanding role preferred
Full UK driving licence required
Maximum of 3 points on licence
Comfortable carrying out heavy manual work daily
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
40 hours per week
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour
