Simply Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors across our partner secondary schools in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent. We'll match you to the right school based on how you work, not just what's available.

What's on offer:

£95-£115 per day, PAYE available

Direct support from Josh, Branch Manager, one point of contact throughoutWhat the role involves:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons to secondary classes in the teacher's absence
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining routines
Keeping pupils on task across KS3-KS4 year groups and a range of subjects
Settling groups quickly and managing transitions effectively
Providing brief feedback to staff after each session
Following safeguarding procedures at all timesWhat we need from you:

Experience working with young people, schools, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or similar
Confidence managing a classroom and handling low-level disruption
Flexible, reliable and resilient
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
A degree or previous school experience is useful but not essentialRefer a Friend:
