Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality teaching across all primary year groups during PPA cover, ensuring continuity of learning and adherence to the national curriculum.
- Deliver planned lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum policies, maintaining high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Support the planning, assessment, and personalised learning goals for pupils, recognising their unique interests and needs.
- Assist in creating a nurturing classroom environment that reflects the school’s ethos of respect, inclusivity, and development.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of pupil progress, providing feedback to colleagues and contributing to pupil assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to ensure that teaching practices uphold the school's commitment to holistic education and individualised support.
- Contribute to school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities as required.
- On the third day each week, support senior leadership and staff in monitoring activities, data collection, and school development initiatives.
