Site Supervisor- Dudley

A busy primary school in Dudley is looking to appoint an experienced School Caretaking Supervisor to oversee the daily management of the school premises. This role is ideal for someone hands-on, practical, and confident managing site responsibilities within a fast-paced school environment.

Duties Include
Supervising the upkeep and general maintenance of the school building
Conducting routine premises checks and recording findings
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed at all times
Carrying out minor repairs, painting, and maintenance duties
Managing alarms, gates, and site security procedures
Assisting with room setups for school events and activities
Liaising with external contractors and service providers
Supporting the school during emergency situations where required
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within school caretaking or facilities management
Strong understanding of site security and maintenance procedures
Ability to prioritise tasks independently
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Practical maintenance and repair knowledge
Flexible and reliable attitude

Schools require candidates who can start immediately
No training is available for this role
Enhanced DBS required prior to placement
Candidates without a DBS must obtain and pay for their own check
