Overview
Service, repair and maintain heavy plant, machinery and small tools
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
Diagnose faults, source parts and complete effective repairs
Work independently or within a team
Complete all maintenance paperwork accurately
Follow all health & safety procedures and challenge unsafe practices
Support general workshop tasks and maintain a clean work areaRequirements
Essential
Heavy plant experience (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic)
Diagnostic skills (fault finding & repair)
Mig welding/fabrication ability
Strong communication & teamwork
Self-motivated with good attention to detail
Able to work under pressure
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
CSCS Card
City & Guilds (Levels 1-3)
Experience with cranes or white-lining equipmentSalary & Benefits
£24.40 per hour
Monday - Friday
45 hour weekly rotating shifts:
Week 1: 06:00-16:00
Week 2: 07:00-17:00
Overtime available
Training & development opportunities
Travel to other sites as required
