If you have a knack for managing inventory, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth operations, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
As a Stores Person, you will play a critical role in managing the internal purchasing and sales of products and services. Your responsibilities will include:
Organizing purchasing orders for goods and materials.
Liaising with various departments to ensure timely ordering of goods.
Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices.
Reviewing inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
Ensuring prompt invoicing of goods and services.
Monitoring incoming deliveries for discrepancies.
Tracking orders and verifying purchase orders, delivered goods, and supplier invoices.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace.
Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Essential:
Smart, well-presented, and an excellent communicator.
Computer literate with experience in Sage Accounts, MS Office, and Excel.
Proven ability to organize and prioritize workloads effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a Stores Department.
Fork Lift Truck License.
Experience engaging with customers in a pressured environment.
