How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    My Local Authority client in Devon is looking to appoint a talented Children's Transformation Programme Manager on a Contract basis.

    The role will pull together multiple workstreams to help support children and families in Plymouth that are need crisis support and potentially residential care.

    About the role:

    Based in Devon (hybrid):

    Lead a complex programme of transformation, with focus on Children in residential care, matching them to foster families.
    Improve and develop the service to better support foster carers and enable them to take on children with specialist needs.
    Scope and build Council-run care homes in the city to keep children near their families and support networks.About you:
    You will have the following experiences:

    Extensive experience in Children's transformation, in a Local Authority context.
    Excellent understanding of fostering and children's residential services.
    Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
    Demonstrable experience in delivering value for money and cost-savings.What's on offer:

    Salary: £826 per day, inside IR35
    Hybrid Working (predominantly on site)
    Contract type: Contract
    Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
